What is included in the package?

All prices listed are per person. Each package includes round trip airfare from Baltimore/Washington airports to Punta Cana, all-inclusive hotel accommodations for selected length of stay, transfers to/from airport to resort, access to all Chocolate City Invasion events and parties, shuttles from resort to parties and all hotel taxes. A valid passport is required for US Citizens to travel to the Dominican Republic.

Is there an age restriction?

There is no age restriction for the resort, however there is a minimum age of 18 for access to the official events and parties.

Can I purchase tickets to the shows without purchasing a resort package?

No, all vacation packages must be purchased through www.chocolatecityinvasion.com. People who book directly with resort or through other providers will not get access to private shows and events.

What nights are the concerts?

Live shows are planned for the nights of July 5, 6 and 8, 2018. There will be an optional club night on July 7.

What is the payment plan for my package?

Initial deposit of $100 per person. With additional $100 per person payments Sept 10, Oct 10, Nov 10, Dec 10, Jan 10, Feb 10, Mar 10 and Apr 10. Remaining balance is due May 10, 2018.

Can I use multiple credit cards?

Yes, once you have made your reservation, you will have the opportunity to use different credit cards. However, your package will not be confirmed until required deposit is paid in full.

What is included in the package?

Round-trip air-fare from Baltimore/Washington airports (Air/Hotel Packages), all-inclusive hotel accommodations for selected number of nights, round-trip airport hotel transfers, Chocolate City wristband which will get you transfer shuttle to official events and access to all official Chocolate City Events, all hotel taxes.

Are the any additional fees?

The only thing not included is your $10 Tourist Card Fee payable in cash at the airport upon arrival.

What airport will I depart from ?

Packages are based on flights from Baltimore/Washington Airports. Flights will depart from either BWI – Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport, DCA – Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport or IAD – Washington Dulles International Airport. Departure options will be provided in February with first choice given to those who book first. For departures from other cities, please contact STSVacations at 410-487-8242.

Can I purchase additional nights?

Yes, packages for additional nights may be booked directly with the Chocolate City Invasion tour operator, STSVacations at 410.487.8242,

Do I need to provide the name of my traveling companion at booking?

Yes, however you may be able to change names prior to ticketing your airline tickets, subject to all applicable airline fees and $25 service fee.

What if I need to cancel?

All payments are non-refundable. Optional trip cancellation protection is available for $69 per person which allows you to cancel for any reason up to 48 hours prior to departure. You may replace a traveler on your reservation subject to any airline or hotel charges and a $25 service charge.

What documentation do I need to travel?

A valid US Passport is required for all US Citizens traveling to the Dominican Republic. Passport must be valid at time of entry into the Dominican Republic and contain at least 1 page for required entry stamp. For information about applying for a passport, visit US Department of State Website. Plan early, a new passport can take up to 6 weeks to be processed.

Are there assigned seats for the shows?

No, all shows are general admissions. Some venues will provide the option to purchase VIP tables. Details will be provide in early Spring ‘2018.

Will my phone work in Punta Cana?

The answer is yes, however we recommend you contact your provide to see what “International Roaming” packages they have available. Data Roaming is very expensive if you are not on a plan. We highly recommend turning data roaming off while you are out of the country.

Who is operating the package?

STSVacations is the official tour operator for the ‘2018 Chocolate City Invasion to Punta Cana and will handle all travel related portions of your vacation.

 

Be Live Resort

How far is hotel from the airport?

Be Live Punta Cana is a 10-15 minute shuttle from the Punta Cana airport.

How far is hotel from the venues?

Some events will be held directly at Be Live Punta Cana. Others will be a short 15-20 minute shuttle away.

What other activities are planned?

Be Live Punta Cana provides a full schedule of activities available on property. In addition, we will provide a full schedule of optional excursions including our Chocolate City party cruises. Stay tuned for details.

What is the dress code for restaurants and shows?

Most resort restaurants require shirts and shoes to enter (no wet swimwear). At night for men, no sleeveless t-shirts and closed toe shoes. A few of the restaurants also require long pants for men. There is no specific dress code for the shows.

Do I need a power converter?

Dominican plugs are the same as most found in the USA, and so is the type of current (110 Volts/60 HZ).

Does the resort have wifi?

Free WiFi is only at the lobby and can only be used during 60 minutes once per device per day. This is non accumulative, once you disconnect before the 60 minutes have expired you will lose the rest of the time for the day. Wifi is available throughout the resort for an additional fee.

Does the resort accept credit cards?

The Be Live Punta Cana accepts Amex, Debit cards, Mastercard, Travellers cheques and Visa.

What happens if I am arriving early or departing late from the hotel?

If your room is not available upon arrival or your departure is after required check-out time, your resort will store your luggage and provide facilities for changing. You will still have access to the resorts facilities.
